Whiskey Row Run IV

 I’d like to thank everyone who came to the 4^th Whiskey Row Run at Gurley Street Sports Pub this past weekend.  On Friday night we kicked it off with 25 players in a double-elimination, race to 2 singles tournament.  First place went to Richie Daniels who defeated Bob Soto for the championship.  Third place went to Andy Davis and James Lance finished fourth. 

After closing the bar the previous night 8 of us braved the early hours to have breakfast before getting things started.  By noon we were ready to have a blind draw team tournament.  The team of Lance Tucker, Derrick Thoman & Eric Nordstrom defeated Wayne Shropshire, John Vescovo & Ryan Fedora to win the team event.  Several people competed in the pole dancing competition with Derrick Thoman and John Vescovo tying for 1^st!!  Thanks to Claudia Morado and Monica Rodriguez for getting the competition started!  Best lap dance goes to Dawn Lezoche!  J

As soon as we had an open table we started up a 9-Ball singles tournament.  Sixteen players competed in the race-to-3 event, which saw Derrick Thoman defeating Ken Holgate for 1^st Place.  3^rd place went to John Vescovo and 4^th was Robert Camp. 

To close out the evening 16 players signed up for scotch doubles.  The team of Ken Holgate & Darren defeated Robin Clark & Carolyn to take 1^st place.

Once again, thanks for everyone that came up for the weekend!  Can’t wait for the next one this fall!
